UX Audit | 48 hours to 3 weeks | From $1,900
A senior UX audit of your product,
and a plan your team can
ship.
Twelve years auditing interfaces that people cannot afford to get wrong. I read your product the way your users do, then tell you exactly what to change, in what order, and why.

M.Sc. Human Factors Engineering, DIN EN ISO 9241-110, IEC 62366-1, WCAG 2.2
How I work
Every finding names the problem, the evidence, and when to act.
I audit against DIN EN ISO 9241-110, Nielsen's heuristics and WCAG 2.2 AA, so a finding is something you can take to your team as a standards question rather than as my taste. Where I see two defensible fixes, I give you both instead of choosing for you.
-
Usability
Readability, intuitive operation, comprehensibility, efficiency, reliability, customizability, error tolerance, learnability.
-
UI Design
Clarity, consistency, responsiveness, aesthetics, flexibility, accessibility.
-
Architecture
Navigation, structure, findability, order, relevance, hierarchy.
Naming the discipline tells you which part of your team owns the fix before anyone reads the detail.
Prioritisation
Priority is a date, not an adjective.
I do not rate findings by how bad they are, because that is an argument nobody wins. I rate them by when to act, and each one carries the reasoning, so you can disagree on the evidence.
- Now
- Implement as soon as possible.
- Next
- Plan for the next opportunity and implement on short notice.
- Later
- Schedule it for the medium term.
Built with AI?
AI builds fast. I check what it missed.
A screen built by AI looks finished in two minutes. The same twelve problems turn up in almost every one. The Full Audit checks for all of them.
- Is it ours? Components that only look like your design system, hardcoded values, copy and features nobody approved.
- Is it real? Controls that are only pictures of controls, placeholder text as the label, focus that disappears.
- Does it behave? Only the happy path, lost input and double submits, real content that breaks the layout.
- Does it communicate? The AI look, colour as the only signal, errors that do not help.
Every audit includes
What lands in your inbox.

- Quick wins separated out: high impact, small effort
- An executive summary written for 90 seconds of attention
- Three strategic recommendations across the findings
- Direct answers to the questions you bring me
- A 15-minute walkthrough recorded on your live product
The offers

If I miss 48 hours
On Cold Eye: a full refund, and you keep the report. The clock starts when I confirm access, not when you pay.
-
If it is not worth it
On Cold Eye: if the report shows you nothing worth fixing that you did not already know, tell me within 14 days and I refund it. You keep the report.
Not sure yet?
Send me a URL. I will look at one screen, free.
I write up what I find on that one screen and send it back. No card, no call.
Questions
Before you ask.
Access to the product and a note on what you are worried about. A staging login is fine. The clock starts when I confirm that access works.
I do not promise a number. Paying by the finding only buys a longer list, and six real problems are worth more than twenty padded ones.
Cold Eye if you want a fast first read and a list of what to fix first. The Full Audit if the product matters to revenue or safety, or if AI built part of it: every state checked, WCAG 2.2 AA, a read of your existing research and data, a fix spec per finding, a workshop and a retest. The Fix Pack if you want proof: five real users test your product, I build a prototype of the fixes, and the same tasks are tested again, so you see the before and after in numbers.
Within 30 days of delivery you send me the fixed version and I check every finding against it. You get a short note saying which are closed and which are not. It is included in the Full Audit and the Fix Pack.
Because the scope is fixed and I do the work myself. I also cap how many audits I take each week, so the 48 hours stays true rather than becoming a queue.
No. An audit is my expert review against standards, fast and fixed price. Testing puts real users in front of the product. The Fix Pack includes both: five sessions on your current product, then three to five on the prototype. On the Full Audit you can add five sessions for $4,900.
I go through the research and data you already have: interview notes, survey results, analytics, support tickets and session recordings. Each finding is tied to the evidence for it, and where your data and my review disagree, I say so. Nothing new is collected, and everything you send is covered by the NDA.
Five moderated remote sessions of about 45 minutes, on the tasks that matter most in your product. I report task success, time on task, errors and a standard satisfaction score (SUS). Five sessions show the main problems clearly, but they are not a statistical sample. Participants are your own customers, which is best, or I recruit them and bill their fees at cost, usually $150 to $400 each. Sessions are recorded with the participant’s consent, and the clock starts when participants are confirmed.
DIN EN ISO 9241-110, Nielsen’s heuristics and WCAG 2.2 AA. Referencing them means a finding is a standards question your team can act on, not a matter of my taste.
Always, before we talk specifics. Most of my client work is under one.
Tell me what's stuck.
Two or three sentences and a rough timeline. I reply within two working days.
